22nd October   Stags choose VebraLive

Stags one of the largest estate agents in the South West of England has today announced that after a detailed review of its operations the partners of the business have decided to purchase VebraLive the innovative new product from Vebra the UK’s largest provider of estate agency software.

Peter Symons, Managing Director of Stags commented “We have been Vebra clients for more than 6 years but felt the time was right to review the systems we were using to ensure they fitted our business going forward. After talking to a number of the major software providers in the market, it became very clear to us that VebraLive was head and shoulders above its competition. As a 17 branch agency with ambitions for further growth we needed a product that had the flexibility to grow with us whilst also ensuring that we could work as efficiently as possible. We recognize that our ability to use our data to maximise all of our opportunities and provide our clients with industry leading service is critical to the success of our business. VebraLive will definitely allow us to do that.”

Tim Summerley, Vebra Managing Director said, “We are delighted that Stags have decided to continue their relationship with Vebra. Whilst the selection process was nerve-racking and nobody wants to risk losing such a long-standing client as Stags, the fact that VebraLive has come out on top in a head-to-head with its main competitor is fantastic.”

11th March   GMG Property Services reach for the sky

GMG Property Services last year announced Shelter as its charity partner.  Since then staff across all 6 GMG Property Services locations have been doing a range of madcap initiatives to raise funds for one of the property industries most supported charities.

The latest event has seen 2 staff take part in the aptly named "VERTICAL RUSH", running up over 920 steps to the 42nd floor of the tallest tower in London.

Mark Goddard GMG PS MD said  "Staff across all offices have really made a great effort to support Shelter.   The Vertical Rush was undoubtedly a HIGH light of the year"

We have raised over £4000 since we started our relationship with Shelter and there are plenty more initiatives in the pipeline  -  we already have several more staff in training for cycle rides and the London Marathon which all happen in the next few months.

11th March   Rise in agent property website revamp

The Media Design House, the web design division of GMG Property Services, has seen a 3 fold increase in the number of agents dusting off their websites since the beginning of the year.

Mark Goddard - Group MD of GMG Property Services said  "We provide web services to over 6000 agents.  The UK property professional has a huge range and choice when it comes to deciding how they want to market their properties using numerous paid and free portal models.   All agents realise the important of having their own web presence  - but are realistic that they know it is a pointless ambition to compete to get their site on the normal Google search pages when the main stream portals dominate this area.    TMDH has just launched a full range of template websites which means for £800 an agent can have a well designed and effective site up and running in a matter of days.    £800 is fantastic value for money to provide your brand with its own online presence which, when complimented with the value delivered by the mainstream portals, ensures you have optimised your online strategy within your marketing mix.  It really doesn't cost a fortune these days to deliver a professional online presence."

11th March   Software market experiencing upturn

Vebra, Core and CFP all reporting a jump in demand

In an upbeat statement today, GMG Property Services has reported a sharp increase in orders across all its Estate Agent and Property Management software solutions.

Mark Goddard, CEO of GMG Property Services, stated "We have invested heavily across our whole product range in the last 18 months.  We are now seeing the fruits of this investment.  All our products are performing extremely well and it is evident investment in Technology and Software is back at the top of the agenda for a growing number of agents".

GMG has several major launches in the pipeline this year and expectations are high.    All their software now have migration tools which enable simple transfer between products.  They also offer complete migrations from REAPIT which is proving extremely popular.  The ability to use VebraLive and EnCoreLive as either Desktop only solutions or as ASP/Web based solutions is an extremely flexible offering.   Many agents not quite ready to make the move from Desktop, know when buying VebraLive or EnCoreLive, they can adapt their business immediately when required.

Goddard singles CFP Software out as the business to watch in 2010.   CFP are already dominant in the Property Management and Letting marketplace with their market leading CFPwinMan and are the only software provider to be accredited by the ICAEA whilst being fully ARLA, NALS, NAEA and RICS compliant.

CFP has seen huge growth in 2009 and this has continued in 2010, strengthened by a fantastic record in customer service with first class training and support teams.     In a fiercely competitive marketplace there is no denying that VEBRA, CORE and CFP are the force to be reckoned with -  Agents vote with their feet and by what ever your measurement they are voting for GMG Property Services
